40 hours focused on being the first on scene to an active-threat incident.

  • 8 hours  pistol fundamentals: Holster work, marksmanship, reloads and malfunctions.

  • 8 hours of carbine fundamentals: Group/zero, ballistics, hold overs/shot placement, sling work, reloads, malfunctions,  and data collection (DOPE).

  • 8 hours pistol and carbine tactics: movement to and away from contact, proper use of cover and concealment, multiple target engagements, and pressure drills.

  • 4 hours tactical medicine/injured shooter drills and scenarios.

  • 8 hours small-team tactics:  spatial awareness, deconfliction between incoming officers, solo and small-team room clearing.

  • 4 hours scenario-based training and final evaluation.
