Rev-Tac's Long Range Precision 1
Spend your day with us building the key component to accurate long range engagements...the FUNDAMENTALS!
We start in the classroom with an equipment shakedown at 8am! This allows us to go over and fix any potential issues with guns and optics before we get on the range!
Then we jump into mils and minutes, how your optic works, setting up your equipment to you specifically, the fundamentals of marksmanship, shooter/spotter roles, gathering data, ballistic calculators. We finish the classroom portion touching on ballistics, reading wind and range estimation....which will all be focused on extensively in LRP 2.
Sometime mid-morning we will get on the range and go over grouping and zeroing...which honestly is really really important. You're only as good as your zero.
After that we will spend the rest of the day gathering data on our guns out to 800, maybe 1000 yards. It really depends on the overall pace of the class. We want to spend this time building confidence behind our systems and utilizing the math that ensures first round impacts.
Class should wrap up around 4pm giving guys who traveled in time to get home for work the next day!
Ask us about coming in the night before and staying at our lodge, cabin or camping! We have RV hookups too!
