Rev-Tac Firearm Instruction is fixing the issue for army snipers who do not have an Advanced Sniper Course available to them. We are brining in active duty snipers from a very relative SEAL team to pass on vital follow-on skills to our snipers.
Here’s what we have planned:
Friday June 9:
Day One:
0700—0900: Open range to confirm zero and data
0900—0930: Safety brief, medical brief
0930—10:15: Fundamentals Review AND Weaponized X-Factor with Kestrel Instruction Break
10:30-12:30: Quality Dope Collection up to 1000m LUNCH
1300- 1500: Rapid Target Engagement Class with "Speed Drop" Concept (Accuracy First) and Shooter/Spotter Dialog during RTE BREAK
1530-1730: Non-Standard Shooting Positions: Tripods, Barricades
1730-1830 DINNER BREAK
1830-2100: Building Hidesites- Urban, Vehicle, Rural Familiarization into 2100-2300: Night Shoots from Hides. Prefer Shooter use NV and Spotter use Thermals.
Saturday June 10:
Day Two:
1000- 1300: Movers from both a ALT platform and stationary platform (Realistic distances- 200-400m) Reps to KNOW your holds. Shooter/Spotter Dialog for Movers LUNCH
1400-1600: Small Unit Tactics (How to move in an Urban Enviroment covertly) Instruction, Practice
1600-1800: Urban Stalk PE with 3 hard to find target engagements, range cards, POI's and NAI's with actors and observers. SALUTE reports and Target Detection.
DINNER
1900-2100: High Angle/Precision Carbine (Non Standard Shooting Positions) 100m-600m
Sunday June 11:
Day Three:
0900-1200: Extreme Long Range and Sniper Defensive Pistol Tactics(Teams will split up and switch from one range to the other)
1200- Dismiss for travel back to units.
Course cost: $800 (includes lodging)
What to bring:
-All typical sniper team gear
-Hide site building material for urban and rural sites.
-Pistol and holster.
-Bring 200 rds per precision rifle system (shooter and spotter)
-200 rds each for M4's
-200 rds each pistol
Food is on you for breakfast and dinner- lunch is provided. (MRE's?) -Standard kitchen appliances provided -Bunks with bedding provided -Bathrooms and shower -Secure Weapon Storage -Secure buildings, alarms systems and cameras.
You’ll be staying in the bunkhouse here so we can put more details out to the guys that can make this course.
