Saturday’s Stages at Crosgrove Farms
tossed salad
This stage challenges our teams to find camouflaged targets using techniques like contrast to background, shine, sheen, outlines, and any other clues they can salvage! The next obstacle for them is that they will only have 8 minutes to find, range, and engage 10 targets! Communication is going to make or break teams!

Know your limits (kyl)
It’s a gamble! This stage tests teams’ confidence in their ability to precisely engage smaller, and smaller targets (5 total) under pressure. The consequence for missing one target is to start over again and potentially lose all their points…but you are racing the clock…many of these teams will find themselves out of time with nothing to show for it! This year’s added twist - both the spotter and the sniper have to engage targets, and move on to the smaller target as a team. If one shooter misses, they both start over! If they think they have reached their limits - they can stop and collect the points on the target they’ve stopped on.

Stalking dirty
A sniper team is only as good as their ability to get get in and out of an area without anyone ever knowing they were there! Sure they must be a surgeon with a rifle, but if they can’t successfully get into their “hide site” to take the shot without being detected, then they have compromised the entire mission. So at this stage, they will camouflage themselves to match their surroundings, move into place (the woods this year) and take a live-fire shot at a target (proving their ability to utilize a ballistic loophole)….all while being stalked by our best counter sniper teams! The crazy part is that you get to be 10 yards from these guys while they do it! You will see how they find their firing position, blend into their surroundings and successfully “take out” the threat without ever being observed! And it gets even crazier, but you’ll have to see it first hand to know what other tricks we have up our sleeves for them!
